Please use this section to tell us about why your project means something to you as your first feature, your vision and intended market/audience for it and how you intend to execute it. In this section, we will be assessing the creative strengths of the project and its viability at first feature level in terms of budget and market.

Please include an outline of your story’s plot, tone and genre. Give us a sense of how the narrative develops (including how it ends), who the key characters are, what the central premise is, themes etc.

4. Declaration

This applies to the project you are applying to First Features with as well as any prior support granted to your core team. Other applicable partners include: Creative England, BFI Doc Society Fund, Film London (including London Calling/Microwave), Ffilm Cymru Wales, iFeatures, Northern Ireland Screen, BFI Film Fund.
Short Circuit is required to identify all relevant financial or personal interests that may exist between applicants and board members/employees of our funders or partner organisations. This is to ensure that measures can be introduced to prevent a conflict of interest arising between those persons assessing the application for Short Circuit and such applicant.
