We’re partnering with Cinetopia for an evening to celebrate some of this year’s Scottish success stories.

Join us on 7th December, from 7.30-10pm, at Traverse Theatre Bar in Edinburgh to hear from a panel of talented filmmakers and industry professionals who have made incredible achievements in the past couple of years and saw their work recognised both here in Scotland and around the world.

From David Macpherson’s first season of The Rig launching on Amazon Prime, to Adura Onashile’s first feature, GIRL, premiering at Sundance and Glasgow Film Festival, to Jen Davies’ success in co-founding CONIC distribution which now represents some of the world’s most critically acclaimed & daring new international films on the festival circuit, our panel will take you through their paths to success in film, what obstacles they have overcome and what inspires them to keep going.

All are welcome. The event is free to attend. PLUS, as an added festive treat, complimentary drinks will be served.

If you have any access needs, such as a BSL-interpreter, please get in touch with abbie.clark@glasgowfilm.org to discuss how we can support you.
