The event is a ‘Directing Actors’ Workshop hosted by Paul Sng. It will begin with Paul leading two actors through a scene from his short film ASKA, giving attendees an insight into the process of directing actors on set, and finish with a screening of the short.
Paul Sng is a bi-racial British Chinese filmmaker based in Edinburgh, whose work focuses on people who challenge the status quo. Paul was supported through our Sharp Shorts programme back in 2022, part of the team who created FOLDING. His films have been broadcast on television and screened internationally and he was named as a BAFTA Breakthrough Artist in 2022/23.
