XpoNorth Digital x Short Circuit are collaborating on a Scottish Heritage and Film Sector mixer, focusing on something which unites both industries – stories.

We have invited storytellers from the heritage field in the Highlands and Islands to bring their best, most cinematic tales, to an ‘open mic’ style event for filmmakers and fellow heritage enthusiasts. We aim to encourage both sectors to think about how they can collaborate and to provide a space for inspiration and networking. Tickets are free, and available by clicking the button at the bottom of this page. Museums that will be sharing their stories include Inverness Museum and Art Gallery, Tarbat Discovery Centre, Brora Heritage Centre, Wick Heritage Centre and Historylinks Museum.

Come along, grab a drink – let’s chat about stories and how we tell them!

When: Thursday 15th February 2024. Doors open at 19.30 for a 20.00 start.

Where: Gym Hall @ Inverness Creative Academy, Midmills Building Stephen’s Street, Inverness, IV2 3JP

The Gym Hall is wheelchair accessible. For any other access needs, please contact abbie.clark@glasgowfilm.org to discuss how we can best support.
