Short Circuit x ShortScape Film Festival: “LET’S TALK ABOUT FUNDING”

We’re delighted to be partnering with Edinburgh’s ShortScape Film Festival on this special screening and panel discussion. We’ll screen 3 superb films supported by Short Circuit’s Sharp Shorts initiative: Groom, Candy and Too Rough and then talk with filmmakers Leyla Coll-O’Reilly (writer and director of Groom), Laura McBride (producer of Groom), Misha McCullagh (producer of Candy) and Sean Lìonadh (writer and director of Too Rough). We’ll be chatting about taking those first steps towards creating a funded short film, their own personal experiences with financing their films, working with Short Circuit and all things in between.

After the discussion, all attendees will be invited to join us for a networking session with complimentary drinks.

When: Friday 22nd September, 7.30pm – 9.00pm (screening + discussion), 9.00pm onwards (networking drinks)
Where: Leith Arches, 6 Manderston Street, Edinburgh, EH6 8LY
