Are you a queer filmmaker wondering how to access funding and training opportunities? Are you looking for community with other queer filmmakers? Join us on Saturday 4th November from 16:00-18:00 at CCA Glasgow to hear about our upcoming opportunities whilst hearing from one of our supported filmmakers.

The Queer Filmmakers Group is an initiative bringing local queer filmmakers together for monthly two-hour group sessions to network and support each other in the development of film projects. This session has been set up in partnership with Short Circuit, who will be screening Living With It, an animation short developed as part of their Sharp Shorts funding scheme. The event will include a Q&A with Talent Executive Miriam Newman and Holly Summerson, the director of Living With It.

Do you need a hand with application processes? Are you completely new to film and would love to learn by getting involved? Then you’re invited to join us!

SQIFF aims to grow the group in the future to become a collective of queer filmmakers in Glasgow. The group is open for any level of filmmaking and we really encourage people just starting out in the medium to come along.
